Currently in training in our Paws of Hope prison resident/rescue dog training initiative, Huey will soon be graduating with his AKC/CGC (Canine Good Citizen) certification. This sweet natured Corgi/German Shepherd mix is looking for his forever home - could that be you?

Hey everybody, I know that this is probably shocking for some of you. I used to be known as Sloane and I came from Stanislaus animal control. I was actually put on the euthanasia list because I did not like people and I was terrified everything. But when I joined this pack, I got an awesome foster mom who helped me really come out of my shell and showed me that people are not scary. And then got to join the training program where my foster dad and I have bonded and our best friends. He thinks that I am the coolest dog out there. I’m very smart and I learned really fast but I really just need my person. I love cuddling in bed and when you’re alarm goes off, I will bury you under your blanket so you don’t have to get up, don’t worry I got your back we can sleep all day, long and cuddle. I hope to find my forever family soon, but until then I’m gonna keep up with my training. My instructor thinks that I have a lot of potential because of how smart I am but man when I see my foster family I get so excited, so I just can only imagine how excited I’m gonna be when I finally get to meet my forever family, come find me soon because trust me I’m worth it!
